COLUMBUS - The below statement can be attributed to Congressman Steve Stivers (R-OH) on the President’s speech last night on immigration.
“We need immigration reform, but the President’s plan is not the answer. First and foremost we must secure our borders and ensure the proper enforcement of our current immigration laws. Secondly, we must enforce our immigration system in a legal and orderly way- which should not include granting amnesty to those who knowingly and willingly cross our borders illegally.”
