“For decades, people on both sides of the aisle have put aside their differences for the sake of the men and women who serve our nation,” Stivers said.  “While it’s disappointing that the President let a political disagreement stand in the way of the well-being of our troops, I was proud to join my Republican and Democratic colleagues to let our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines know that we have their backs.”
